2020 has brought many of us significant change, challenges and discoveries. A pandemic has changed the way we work, challenged us to pivot from our standard way of life, and allowed us to discover the light and dark portions in our lives that truly make us who we are.
For me, 2020 brought fire, chaos, madness, even hopelessness. And yet, within that darkness came the beauty and hope of an idea: to rebel against the grain, disrupt the chaos, and create meaningful, impactful change.
In entertainment, we are entering an age where the consumer is finally in power of the content they choose to consume. Brought by the ingeniousness of Netflix, storytellers have new opportunities to showcase their work to a global audience at the swipe and tap of a screen. Within this, is where Misfit Wolves thrives.
We are the rebellious pack of storytellers driven to create thought-provoking, powerful stories with rich and diverse characters. We want to spotlight those who have lived in the shadows of others never getting their moment. We want to give voices to the voiceless, champion the underdog, and bring light to stories never-before seen or rarely heard. We want to not only entertain but question the norms, and engage our audience in thought and magnificent moving imagery that is both raw but picturesque.
